Finally it is done took me some time and now I do not know what to write or what would go as a good title for the image ^^

It was a huge pain the last 2 days fixing the sky since i kept redoing it over and over again and it always looked a little bit off. But in the end i found something that i liked. The problem was that in the early stages people who saw the work in progress images saw more of a Dawn/Sunset setting than what i intended to.
I intended to have an rather ominous, eerie light effect coming from the horizon distracting the guards giving the Skaven the ambush.

Initially i wanted to have everything look like a night image except for the light from the well and horizon, but it looked way to dark and the idea of the Skaven having to run threw passages of light gave the image some sort of tension for the viewer whether or not they are being spotted before they can take down the guards.

Anyway I'm done for now, but I got already ideas and sketches for more images, some related to this and some not

There's still an older image I haven't uploaded yet featuring the city Skavenblight and the surrounding area

Edit: Just came online and was wondering about an exploding inbox, checking what the is happening, I'm DD.
I'm so thankful for every who supported me and this image and can't describe how overwhelmed I am right now especially after the set backs I had , Thank you all !

It looks good, I'm thinking there is a story line to this event? part of my writing is about pics like this one, a caption or explanation of the scene, good work!

Yes I wanted to tell a story with this image and yes let enough room for interpretation.
Can't honestly say I achieved everything i wanted to try with this image but many things worked out well and in the end it's just one step to make even better images

when i seen the print i wanted to tell another story, not sure what you had in mind but i could see a caption under it like; "Our backs to danger, because light is never our stranger" that was what i thought when i first seen it, are the men facing the light or the village? jw!
